While I was checking my emails, this little ad popped up on my screen. I don't know about you, but I felt the advertisement was of poor taste. Advertisement based on price comparison have been done before, nothing new there, but there is a fine line between being cheeky and being downright low. I think Boots Marketing Team has crossed my line.

Excuse my poor puns, this is the best the French native speaker in me could do, on the spot, recovering after a night of debauchery...

That is kind of tacky of Boots. They didn't even use a capital S for Superdrug!
I saw that advert on the side of a website yesterday, and agree that it's low. They're just as bad as the supermarkets, love your face off though ;P
Desperate times call for desperate measures - and that is desperate AND low! I'm disappointed in Boots. I'm a Superdrug girl, I must say ;)
Sally hansen top coat is also 1.69 cheaper in superdrug than in boots! I like boots but will always go to superdrug first, always have. Very good post, thank u X
I like both stores lol. Sometimes the prices are better in Superdrug, sometimes the offers are better in Boots.

Great post! I love superdrug there is only a few stores here in Ireland so it is such a novelty for me to go in! Boots meh they are everywhere! :)
I'm with TeeDee on this one, I love Superdrug and save a load in there with my NUS Discount too. Boots yes you have the Beauty Card but half the time (In my town across 4 stores) you have snotty staff who are unhelpful and also don't stock half the items I want.

Nice one Lils! I have always preferred Superdrug - the products I like to buy are generally cheaper there and although they don't have as many types of makeup, the ones they do stock are so much better. Boots have made themselves look cheap and tacky - bad move! x

Not to mention Superdrug's own brand is cruelty-free! I'm rapidly going off Boots. If only they didn't sell amazingly lovely products, I probably wouldn't shop there lol! xx
