Bargain time: Adrian Schechter jewellery at 85% off

Adrian who? No worries, I never heard of the man before today either. There is this utterly gorgeous of beaded bracelets by a brand called 'Adrian Schechter' on Secret Sales and if money was a bit more flowing these days, I think I would have definitely splurged. What puzzles me is that how come it's at 85% and that it's *still* £25! Had it been £12.99 I think I would have pressed the button 'purchase' but for now, let me just share with you the object of my desire. If you are interested, make your decision quickly, the sale ends in 2 days and there are only a handful of items left.

*Deal Alert* Babyliss Big Hair on Buyapowa

I've been obsessed with getting a babyliss big hair (rotating hot brush, hair styling tool) for years but my obsession with getting my hands on it reached a whole new level, since January 2012 since so and so tweeted they were able to find one at £20 in wilkinsons and another girl saying she found the same deal at Boots.

The thing is that the Babyliss Big Hair usually retails it for around £45 and I have been reluctant to spend so much money to get it, mainly because people have been able to get it for 20 quid. Well my prayers are finally answered and the babyliss is finally available to purchase on Buyapowa. How good is it? I don't know since I have yet to buy it, but so many people have been raving about it, I've been dying to try it too.

In short, it's a hair styling tool, specifically designed to help you blow drying your hair, like you've had a blow dry at the salon. A ray of hope for those, like me, who are absolutely useless at blow drying their hair at home. If you want to try it, Buyapowa is currently have it on sale, at £30 but it's in limited quantity.

10 reasons why you need a babyliss big hair in your life, featuing 'real' people, like you and me, from the blogging community:

Charlie, Lady of the Lane.
"Babyliss Big Hair Changed my Life"
"I just have to blog about it because I absolutely love it. It has revolutionised my hair styling. You can achieve a properly blow dried style in next to no time, something I have always totally failed at with a hair brush and hair dryer, this makes my life so easy." Read more...

Tanja, Tanja loves makeup.
"I love this thing. It's like having two hands in one. No more wrestling with the big round brush in one hand and the hair dryer in the other, this thing does it all for you! My sister got one for her birthday and she loves it too. She's a busy mom with 2 kids so she needs something that will style her hair quickly, and this brush/hair dryer does that for her" Read more...

Beauty Geek UK
"I'm a HUGE fan of the Babyliss Big Hair Brush as it's made it possible for me to have hair that looks perfectly blow-dried. I've never been able to achieve that 'just out of the salon' look with standard blow-drying techniques, so this brush was a fantastic buy for me." Read more...

Plan of attack…

No one likes to get it wrong but on this occasion I am so glad my first instincts were wrong. When Models Own promised their customers that they would be offering a half price sale if they reach 50,000 Facebook Fans by the end of the month, not only was the pessimistic in me didn't think they would reach their target but that they could reach it 10 days before the deadline would have never crossed my head. I am a pessimist at heart and it helps me to be less disappointed in life, in theory.

But they made it and, according to their latest Facebook update, they are hoping that the sale will happen today. Hoping is the operative word there. To say that I am excited and anxious is an understatement. I started to get into nail polishes right after their last half price sale and I didn't think such a dramatic sale, in search for a better word, at 05.43am, would happen again before Christmas.

Anyway,

if everything goes to plan,
if the code is released today,
if I haven't totally lost it by then,
if my internet connection works,
if the website copes with the traffic generated
if facebook isn't down
if I haven't lost my bank card
if there is no power cut
if I don't fall under a bus

and if the shades I want are still there...

This is going to be my plan of attack.

There is no way, to my knowledge, to save the shades in the basket in advance. The search facility is not working properly so I need to find a way to quickly identify the objects of my desire.

Yes, ‘sad’ is the word you’re looking for here ….

In addition, I would also want to get 2 of their new smokey eye kits, which I have been lusting for/on/over for a while.

Will you be taking part in the models own sale?
Have you got your heart on some shades of nail polish in particular?
