Le petit jardin: sort of

It is with extreme shyness that I would like to offer you my very first 'nail swatch'. I know it's only one nail but for me it's a big thing. I've been reading so many blogs with perfect manicures (perfect application and top notch lighting) that I have never had the courage to post anything in this field.

I could not resist and just had to buy a copy of the Cosmo Magazine to sample the free 'splash' nail polish, all brand new from Missguided. I originally wanted to buy 'MissBehave' (the lilac/pink shade) but I gave in to the comments from my lovely readers yesterday and went to grab a 'MissFit', a gorgeous black polish with a gold shimmer. {Edit - 10 November 2010- I have swatched this polish again. better pictures, on full hand here}

I was not disappointed. I am not expert at all in terms of nail polish but I was really impressed about the quality for a £5 nail polish. I found the application very easy (although as you can see I did apply it like 5 miles away from the edges and cuticles, bear with me as I am learning) and in 2 generous coats I achieved this result.
