When it ain’t broken…

… don’t fix it. I am not sure what went on there and the rationale behind it all but Jergens thought it would be a good idea to repackage their excellent body moisturisers and make them look like … they come from the 80s complete with a plastic feel shiny bottle, a silver line in the middle, a silver doodle on top (is that the new logo?) and the leaf we used to love totally chopped off. If I had never tried Jergens before, would I be tempted to buy it just by the packaging alone? No.

p.s And is not natural anymore? Confused smile

Oh no! I loved Jurgens, particularly the lovely big leaf on the front. And I loved that it was all natrual. Not sure if I'd rebuy this new version :/

The new version looks cheap and terrible! They obviously did no market research before changing.

Haha that is weird, I hate when people do that with products and change the packaging so annoying xxx

Obviously dropping the word 'naturals' from the bottle meant they had to make the whole thing look synthetic...would definitely not buy just on looks alone now.

Eeek! For a moment I thought the new packaging was the old one! Yep, I sued to like the other one, why change it?

What? :s I don't even... *facepalm* It looks like that would be the old packaging! Retro much!? And with the little image on the bottom of the bottle makes it look more like a shampoo.. :s

Ick! I can't believe they thought that looks better than the original.
