The Chubby sticks of the poor: just bitten, just landed …

and just swatched.


For months now, the American have been teasing us with the Revlon 'Just Bitten' Kissable lipbalm stains. The wait is over and those of us living in the UK, can have finally have our grubby mitts on them now.




What are the Just Bitten kissable balm stains (again)?
They say: A pampering balm fused with a lightweight lipstain that gives you softer, smoother lips with a flush of shiny color that lasts hour after hour. The smooth and moisturizing gel formula glides on beautifully with a light peppermint fragrance for truly kissable lips – no sharpener is required!

The shades have all been named around the theme of love. My own ‘personal’ Superdrug received 7 shades, but I am not sure how many shades in total the UK will receive. Here are some quick swatches for you:







Just Bitten lip balm stains are usually sold at £7.99, but there is a special introductory offer. Boots being Boots, you need to purchase 3 to be able to use the offer (3 for 2 on selected Boots products) while good old superdrug lets you buy only one if you want at £5.99.

New Crush for Boohoo

I’ve always liked clothes browsing and shopping at Boohoo.com but the website was so basic before and it made the whole experience very tedious. Not anymore as since last night boohoo has revamped and uncovered its new website. Gone are the days where you needed to trawl through endlesspages and pages of items,  you can now view up to 120 items per page, narrow your browsing results by size and sort the whole thing by price range. I am super excited. Best of all, the prices are still the same and the clothes are so affordable. Love it! I could not resist showing you my loves du jour.





Now the last one looks a bit like the model a wearing a safety belt but I still like it :P

Crush on Bellbottom Blues - My Face Cosmetics

I actually never really paid attention to the ‘MyFace Cosmetics’ stand at Boots as I have always been put off the price but this time, my eyes got caught by a little gem from their ‘Bling Tone’  eyeshadows.





Meet the stunning ‘BellBottom Blues’ an ultra shimmery blue eyeshadow.  I keep on wanting to call it 'belly button blue'. Now for the not so shimmery news about it: It costs £9.78. I mean I know it’s a revolutionary formula, packed with crushed pearls, but £10 for a shadow. What’s so special about it?




I resisted long and hard and left the shop with a swatch which I kept on looking at for the rest of the day. I still fancy buying a lot, but I don’t think I should. Or should I?  Do you own of these high bling shadows (or maybe some other item from the brand? Are they worth it?
